APPLICATION AND ADMISSION PROCESS FOR STUDENT ENROLLMENT
There are several important steps in the Darla’s School Application Process. These steps have been listed to help guide you in your understanding of the procedure for placement in our school program:
1. INFORMATION
Please inquire by phone, letter or in person to Darla’s. We will be glad to provide information or answer your questions regarding our program and, in general, try to give you an idea of the type of individual who may benefit from being enrolled in Darla’s School.
2.DARLA’S SCHOOL SITE VISIT
If you feel the applicant’s needs fit with our core curriculum, we will ask you to make an on-site visit to the school. Please call the office at 713.523.2114 to arrange for a convenient visit. The on-site visit is invaluable and will give you a first hand view of our program in action and of the facility utilized to enhance our teaching and creative projects.
3. THE APPLICATION
Should you feel that Darla’s School is the program to fit your needs, you should complete a Darla’s School application. The Admissions Committee conducts a thorough study of the information provided, determines the placement and suitability of each applicant, and notifies you whether or not to continue with the next step in the admissions procedure which is an interview/conference.
4. THE INTERVIEW

5. ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION
The Admissions Committee will notify you of their recommendation. The Committee may decide one of the following at this time: Further evaluation is needed; candidate is not acceptable at this time, or the candidate is accepted on a probationary basis. All new students are accepted on a probationary basis.
6. TUITION FEES
